Thank you for visiting the official website of dancer, photographer, filmmaker, author, and artist of multiple mediums, Kylie Shea, currently based in Los Angeles. After fulfilling her dreams as a principal artist in concert dance with Donald Byrd's Spectrum Dance Theatre, she returned home to LA to pursue her career in entertainment. Since 2013, Kylie has been pushing the boundaries of classical ballet and what it means to be a "ballerina" while developing a strong presence on social media and leading by example that classically trained dancers are a force to be reckoned with. From dancing on Saturday Night Live alongside 21 Savage, starring in ads for Agent Provocateur, and touring around the world with Lana Del Rey, Kylie has worked with a vast range of brands and artists in live performances, campaigns, and media representing classical ballet in unexpected ways that challenge the status quo. She is often recognized from her performances in the rainy season 13 finale of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ‘Mac Finds His Pride’, with Rob McElhenney, and her role as "The Ballerina" with Channing Tatum dancing the infamous water duet in the film Magic Mike's Last Dance. Kylie has been pursuing her work as a photographer and director simultaneously with her career as a performing artist and is currently an ambassador for Leica Camera USA. She hopes to continue blending her passions on both sides of the camera while sharing meaningful work with the world. Kylie is also the author of Save Your Tears For The Stage, a children's book dedicated to her late ballet teacher, which was illustrated by crowd sourcing artwork via social media, from artists of all ages around the world.
